St Patrick's Corned Beef & Cabbage

We decided to celebrate St Patty's Day the weekend before because it fell on a Thursday this year & it was a good excuse to have a gathering of friends for a one pot meal.
How many meals fall into that category?
Not too many, and we like to do this at least once a year.

My husband, as the decorator of the family, started his morning picking spring flowers
and arranging bouquets all around the house.

Then it wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day without the beer. The husband found a great wheat beer from a micro brewery in Augora, California, about 6 miles away. Ladyface Ale Companie

And last but certainly not least the corned beef , cabbage, potatoes and carrots....
